Baking bread with sourdough and making vegan breadspread

Ekbacka Gård welcome you to a day in flour dust and oven heat - a sourdough course for everyone, no matter experience.

During the course you will be guided through the process from sour culture to successful bread. By using tools available in a normal household we will make two different kind of organic whole grain sourdough breads (emmer and rye) aiming for a professional result. We will share a day in the beautiful surroundings of the farm, baking, sharing bread knowledge and developing vegan bread spreads from local ingredients while waiting for the microbiotic life in the dough to work for us.

 

The course will be taught by Clemmen, a biologist and enthusiastic amateur baker from Denmark, who have found a passion in the creation of the good bread.

 

The price for the course is 750:--skr. Included a big lunch salad with bread, a fika break and finally a dinner soup with your own bread. Two breads and bread spread to take home and a sourdough starter to keep going!
